Beautiful location – valley surrounded by hills and forests
Poráč park is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Poráč valley. The best way of transport is auto. A more complicated mode of transport is bus running between Spišská Nová Ves and the village of Poráč. After getting off the bus in the middle of the village you need to walk about 2 kilometres.
Greenery, peace and harmony are characteristic for the village of Poráč and Poráč park. The hill Vysoký vrch (High Hill) with views to all sides of the world is one of the easy hikes and the scenery is a well-deserved reward. Another place of interest is the Šarkanová hole cave. Smaller walks you can also take in the immediate vicinity of the resort.
