Have you ever visited the Farm on Samelova lúka in the Slovak Paradise? It is located in the middle of picturesque nature in the village Dobšinská Ice Cave. Near the farm you will also find the world-famous Dobšinská Ice Cave, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000, a tourist information centre, a restaurant, the rope park Tarzánia Dobšinka or a relaxation zone with a fountain.
Farm on Samelova meadow offers:
- several horse and carriage riding alternatives, which experienced instructors will adapt to your requirements and riding abilities. Sit on a horse and understand the meaning of the saying : “The most beautiful view of the world is from the back of a horse”!
- rich menagerie represented by several breeds of horses (various breeds of riding horses, which are used for agro-tourism, but also draft horses intended for work in the forest) and livestock (cattle – mainly Slovak spotted cattle, but depending on the season also sheep, goats, ducks, geese, chickens, or pigs), dogs, or cats,
- Private summer camps for children called “Camp Samelova Meadow”, where children are guided to live in harmony with nature and to understand and appreciate the values of our grandparents. During a fun-filled week, they will experience the joys and worries of life on an animal farm – from riding horses, herding animals and sitting around the campfire, to cleaning stalls, raking hay and milking cows. Living in paradise – during the camp, the children are accommodated directly in cabins on the reputed Samel Meadow.
