How to get to Porac?
The village is situated on the territory of southern Spiš. The nearest town is 20 km away Spišská Nová Ves. It is very convenient to get to the village of Porac by car. The village is also connected with Spišská by regular bus connections. Meadows, forests, hills, valleys and greenery are the main features of the highest village of the Spišská Nová Ves district.

Caves Šarkanova hole and Chyža
Both caves are at the same time archaeological sites and are located on a rocky ridge. You can enter the cave on your own responsibility. The Shark Hole is 177 metres a originated as a river cave. It used to have a beautiful stalactite decoration, but unwelcome visitors destroyed it.
